Lorenzo Durantini is not devoted to one single art form, he makes photographs, as well as videos, performances and installations. Same diversification happens inside his photographic production, which shifts from the wide landscapes of Carrara to the almost social and behavioural analysis of the coreographies of passers-by in Nobody watches, Everybody performs, or the figure studies of Varying Degrees. Last but not least, he turns himself into an interesting crossing between Chris Jordan and Harold E. Edgerton with his matter studies Taking Things Apart, where the point of rupture of different materials is linked to several facts from our world.
Weather he will keep multiplying his photographic personalities or narrow down from these to a peculiar specific line of work, Lorenzo Durantini is for sure somebody to keep an eye on.

Lorenzo Durantini non è dedito a una sola forma d'arte, difatti realizza fotografie, video, performance e installazioni. La stessa varietà di approcci la si ritrova all'interno della sua produzione fotografica, dove si muove tra le bianche vedute della serie Carrara e l'indagine sociale e quasi comportamentale delle coreografie di passanti di Nobody watches, Everybody performs, oppure gli studi di figura di Varying Degrees. Non contando poi gli studi di materia di Taking Things Apart, dove si trasforma in una sorta di incrocio tra Chris Jordan e Harold E. Edgerton per riflettere su fatti d'attualità attraverso la rappresentazione dei punti di rottura di diversi materiali.
Che continui a moltiplicare le sue personalità fotografiche o che scelga tra queste quella che poi sarà la sua principale linea di ricerca, Lorenzo Durantini merita comunque di essere seguito da molto vicino.
