Sweet estrangement

Hard for me to find another expression to describe the feeling I get from Eri Morita's Home Drama, and extensively from the rest of her work. We're shown moments of daily life to which we can play the game of adding almost any prelude or conclusion we want, endlessly reconstructing the thread of events unfolding page by page.
"Sullen detachment and unspoken intimacy", is written in the quote of a review of her work. Couldn't say it in a better way.


Difficile trovare un'altra espressione per descrivere la sensazione che mi dà Home Drama di Eri Morita. Ci vengono mostrati momenti ai quali possiamo aggiungere un'infinità di preludi e esiti immaginari, ricostruendo continuamente gli eventi che compaiono pagina dopo pagina.
"Malinconico distacco e tacita intimità", viene detto in una recensione del libro. Non saprei descriverlo in un modo migliore.
