Un altro nome si aggiunge al gruppo di 'collezionisti e classificatori' in cui mi sto imbattendo recentemente, un altro autore il cui catalogo di piccole serie fotografiche mette l'accento sui gruppi e le categorie di luoghi, persone e situazioni, un lavoro in cui l'accumulazione diviene il fattore predominante, molto più dell'eventuale forza visiva della singola immagine mostrata: Matthew Sleeth, che ha appena pubblicato un libro che forse non a caso si intitola Ten Series/106 Photographs. Come del resto anche il suo sito, costruito come uno strano doppio di Google che indirizza a tutte le diverse sezioni che illustrano il suo lavoro.

One more name joins the group of 'collectors and classifiers' I've been recently stumbling upon, another author whose series of different tiny bodies of works puts the accent more on the groups and the categories of people and places and on a process of accumulation, rather than on the striking visual quality of the single image.
Matthew Sleeth just released a book called maybe by no chance Ten Series/106 Photographs, not counting his website platform, shaped like a Google doppelgänger that takes you to all the different minisites illustrating his activity.
