Cinema inconscio

Non visitavo il sito di Alec Soth da qualche tempo e ho scoperto che ha messo online il suo lavoro Thirty-three theatres and a funeral home, una sequenza di cinema abbandonati in Texas ispirata al cinema di Wim Wenders, in particolare al suo film Nel corso del tempo.
Il lavoro di Soth fa parte del progetto L'image d'après: Le cinéma dans l'imaginaire de la photographie (anche qui), dieci fotografi Magnum che riflettono sulle loro suggestioni cinematografiche.

I haven't been visiting Alec Soth's website for a while and I recently noticed he added the project Thirty-three theatres and a funeral home, a series of abandoned movie theatres in Texas inspired by the cinema of Wim Wenders, especially from his movie Kings of the Road. Soth's images are part of the project L'image d'après: Le cinéma dans l'imaginaire de la photographie (English title The Image to Come - see also here), ten Magnum photographers working on their inspirations from the world of movies.
