Guardare il lavoro nato dalla collaborazione di due fotografi differenti (animali facilmente solitari, spesso gelosi del momento di lavoro chiamato 'scatto') può essere molto interessante (ed è anche piuttosto infrequente): metterlo a confronto con le loro produzioni individuali, cercare le tracce della fusione dei due stili oppure osservare l’alternarsi della predominanza di uno o dell’altro.
Trine Søndergaard, ad esempio, nell’incontro con Nicolai Howalt (di cui abbiamo già parlato) mette da parte l’asprezza e la frontalità dei suoi lavori degli anni precedenti e si abbandona ad un lirismo così diverso e così semplicemente bello, i cui frutti sono il libro How to Hunt e le serie Tree Zone e Dying Birds (presenti, ovviamente, sui siti di entrambi).

Looking at the work born from the collaboration of two different photographers (quite lonely animals, often jealous of the phase of their work called ‘click’), can be quite an interesting experience (and unfrequent, too): you can compare their collective work with their solo productions, seek for traces of the fusion of the respective styles or watch the alternation of the predominance of one over the other.
Trine Søndergaard, for example, in her works with Nicolai Howalt (whom we already mentioned) abandoned the harshness and the immediacy of her works from the previous years, delivering herself to a lyricism which is so different, and so simply beautiful, whose fruits are the book How to Hunt and the series Tree Zone and Dying Birds (to be found on the websites of both, of course).
